At the start of restoration period from Japanese occupation, Taiwan was badly weakened in its agriculture and underwent an economic recession. Born and grew up in a farmer family, my agriculture education background and practical farming experience had made me realized that increasing agriculture production, raising farmers' profits and instilling modernized agriculture business philosophy to the farmers are the only sure way to improve farmers' lives and to restore agriculture.

Recognizing agrochemicals' essential role in eliminating blight of the crop as well as the most effective tools in promoting agriculture production during the development process, I decided to committed myself in the agrochemical industry by founding Sinon Corp. Suddenly, Sinon turns 50th witnessing the prosperity and progress of the rural villages, and the improved life of farmers, I cannot help but feel an infinite appreciation and joy.

Starting from a single small-sized production-and-distribution agrochemical factory, we have expanded into a group of more than a dozen industries: food, chemicals, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, house appliances, supermarket, trading, information, cement, plastics, life insurance and professional baseball etc. Such a huge multi-dimensional business entity ensures that our business philosophy of “In honesty and fair, we care both benefits and profits.” Over 50 years has gained the affirmation of the consumer public.

During the significant days of entering stock listing, the management of Sinon Corp. had formally passed on to the young generation. I feel overjoyed by the glorious performance and the brighter vision created by the energetic, hard-working, broad-minded and responsible new generation with a continuous innovative and ever-changing spirit.
