A major concern shared by our stakeholders is how we manage hazardous waste. All waste products are either recycled or treated with the highest environmental standards.- Training: Since 1998, all employees in our waste management operation must complete a technical certification program which includes one-to-one and one-to-three mentorship, 624 hour of technical training, and a 4-level examination.
- Solid waste: we use the most technologically advanced equipment from Germany and comply with all Taiwanese standards for waste treatment and recovery.
- Liquid waste: our wastewater treatment plant is nationally certified. It has also been certified by our multinational partners using the latest European standards. In 2010 and 2011, we implemented two major projects to improve the 24-hour availability of our treatment facility for physical, chemical and active waste.
